About me

I'd love to share more about why coaching is so important to me

Hello!  I'm guessing that you're looking to see if I am the right Coach for you to partner with, so here's some more about me, professionally and personally.

My career started in the NHS as a Dietitian, so I'm well versed in supporting people achieve significant change in their lives in a supportive and collaborative way.

I continued to use my scientific background as well as the psychology in the Pharma Industry and have made a difference to Health Care Professionals, their patients and colleagues through my numerous roles in Leadership and Learning & Development.  My Linkedin page has multiple recommendations.

The science of psychology has always fascinated me. it was part of my degree, used every day as a Dietitian. And bringing up my children!!

Making a  difference in the lives of those that I coach using positive psychology is the icing on the proverbial cake!

My first clients were all people who had met or worked with me previously. That is such an endorsement of trust, which I am so grateful for.  Read some success stories here!

From a personal perspective, I believe that my journey makes me extra supportive as a Coach, too.

As the sole breadwinner for my two children after my marriage fell apart, I weathered 5 redundancies!  So I've had my fair share of unanticipated change and 'mountains to climb'. I was lucky enough to be made of strong stuff. Looking back, it could have been so much easier, if I had had the dedicated time and space with a Coach to sort out my overwhelm, "inner voices" and fear of both failure and letting them down.

I would have had greater confidence in me; trusted my instincts and made decisions sooner. I could have talked about my guilt of being a working Mum, needing to provide and not seeing enough of my beautiful children.

It was only when I became a freelance consultant after my 5th redundancy, that I had the flexibility to cook and eat an evening meal with them regularly. And it felt like heaven

What would feel like heaven to you?

I still have a thank you card  from a lady who I supported  throughout her weight loss journey in the hope that it would help her fertility. It was a picture of her holding her newborn  ❤︎

What could I support you achieve?
