I've helped hundreds of women rewrite their relationships with their bodies, their food and their future.  I still have a thank-you card from a patient with PCOS who lost weight to support her fertility. It shows her holding her newborn. I’ll never forget it. 

 

I’ve spent 25+ years translating complex science into practical actions for people - ones that make sense to them and which get them to their goals.

 

  • Previous Dietitian (NHS and private practice)
  • Experienced trainer in metabolic health, (Type 2 Diabetes, CV disease, fatty liver)  and women’s health
  • Experienced trainer in medicines for metabolic disease - including GLP-1s
  • ICF-accredited coach for behavioural change 
  • Leadership and Team Coach (Corporate consultancy)
  • Specialist knowledge in GLP-1 medications (I trained professionals on the first two GLP-1s licensed in the UK)

 

Today, that all feeds into my book that blends biology, behaviours, and beliefs into a new path forward for women on GLP-1s. It was  published on July 7th 2026.

 

But just as importantly - I’ve been on my own GLP-1 journey, too. Because, I'm human and I let my diet slide (I know!) leading to a scary combination of stubbornly high blood pressure and cholesterol.  It was the wake-up call. I couldn't take my health for granted.

 

So I get it.

The hope. The hesitation. The hunger for a better future. 

The need for that dopamine fix. 

And the anxiety about what happens next.

What really fuels my work

 

This isn't just a job for me, it's personal.

 

I know what it’s like to face big change with no safety net. After my marriage broke down, I became the sole breadwinner for my two young children - and navigated five redundancies in a row. I kept going, but it was hard, especially when an early menopause was thrown into the mix.

 

Looking back, I wish I’d had the support of a coach - someone to help me hear my own thoughts, cut through the fear, and trust my instincts. That’s what I offer now.

 

My children are in their twenties now - happy, thriving, independent - and I more time and freedom to enjoy life on my agenda!

 

Usually on two wheels.

 

I cycle around Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and the Cotswolds with friends, and I’ve toured through Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Austria… Planning next year’s trip as we speak.

 

I walk my rescue dog Sherlock every day - a joyful bundle of Spaniel, terrier, and total chaos.

I’m a science-led coach with a heart

 

Trusting someone to share your questions, thoughts and fears with makes all the difference on your GLP-1 journey.  

 

When I started on mine, I was lucky  because of  experience. I soon realised that online advice, hasn't caught up with the evidence though.

 

Women are 80% of the 'out of pocket' market in the UK and are turning to online groups for information - which unfortunately is often full of misinformation and myths. And how can you tell what's true and what isn't?
